Red Ribbon Week: October 23-October 27, 2017
Dear Families,
Each year, during the last few weeks in October, students show their commitment to a healthy, drug-free life by wearing or displaying The Red Ribbon.
Starting Monday, October 23 through Thursday, October 27 there will be a variety of drug awareness activities and themes to remind our students to "SAY NO TO DRUGS."
RED RIBBON THEMES FOR THE WEEK
Monday: Be Winners! Don't Do Drugs!"/Sport's Day*
*Wear a Sports Jersey and Jeans
Tuesday: "Outsmart Drugs!"/Nerd Day*
Try suspenders
Bow Tie
*Wear a t-shirt advertising a nerdy interest
*Select appropriate footwear
*Try a button up shirt with high waisted shorts/pants
*Go for bright colors and mismatched patterns
*Rolled-up pants
Wednesday: "Drugs are Zero! We are Heroes!"/Superhero Day*
*Wear a superhero t-Shirt with jeans or a superhero costume
Thursday: "Be Cool! Drugs are Not Cool!"/Retro Day 70's*
*Wear 70's Clothes
Friday: "Be a Saint! Say "NO" to Drugs!"/MASS UNIFORM
DURING RED RIBBON WEEK STUDENTS ARE NOT ALLOWED TO WEAR TANK TOPS, SPAGHETTI, STRAPS OR SHORT-SHORTS.
