The Classroom/School Rules
1. Respect others and their property.
2. Listen to your teacher and classmates and follow directions.
3. Raise your hand and wait to be called on.
4. Work quietly and remain in your seat.
5. Complete all classwork and homework assignments on time.
Green Card Super Citizen
Yellow Card 1st Warning -May be sent to Recess Time Out on Yellow
Pink Card 2nd Warning-After School Detention is given(30 mins.); a Detention Slip goes home.
Red Card 3rd Warning-Principal will be notified/ Teacher contacts parents with a note or phone call.
The student is given After School Detention or a Conduct Referral.
Severe Disruption Student sent to the Principal and parent(s) notified. Loss of Privileges may result.
The following disciplinary procedure is standard practice with all grades:
1. Any three detentions equal one Conduct Referral(pink slip).
(Conduct may result in loss of priviedges)
2. Any three conduct referrals equal one In-School Suspension. It will be at the principal’s discretion as to whether or not the suspension will be noted in the student’s record. Parents will be informed of this decision. A conference may be arranged.
3. Any three In-School-Suspensions equal one At-Home Suspension. All At-Home Suspensions will be noted on student’s record and
reported to the Pastor. A conference will be arranged to determine the student’s enrollment status with the school. The final
decision for expulsion rests with the Pastor and Principal.
4. A serious offensive involving physical or moral danger may immediately result in an In-School-Suspension, At Home Suspension, or Expulsion. This decision also rests with the Pastor and Principal.
NOTE A student who has received a warning(changes their card) has the rest of the day to go back to the green card. If you receive a notice/note it means you has chosen not to follow the rules during the day.
Students who follow the rules will be positively rewarded with praise, positive notes, free time, tickets, and special privileges.
